Aaron Pettway 6'11" PF/C Oklahoma State(2006)

Aaron Pettway had a standout career at Hutchinson Junior College. He was rated as the #1 Junior College center in the country and was being recruited by numerous major colleges. Ultimately, Aaron signed with Oklahoma State University of the Big 12 Conference. At 6'11" with a NBA body and off the charts athleticism, Aaron looked like a surefire pro prospect. During his two seasons at Oklahoma State, Aaron inexplicably saw very little playing time and his professional future appeared in doubt.

Following his senior season, Aaron signed with Hart Sports Management. Realizing that we had landed a huge sleeper with unlimited potential, our number one goal was to get him in front of club representatives, so that he could be judged by his talent, not his college stats. Aaron was invited to the 2006 Hart Sports Management camp where he played extremely well, generating interest from some of the European clubs in attendance. A deal materialized and Aaron was off to Poland for the 2006-07 season to play with Kager Gydinia, where Aaron had a strong rookie season leading the league in blocked shots and ranking in the top 10 in the league in rebounding.

At the conclusion of his rookie season in Poland, Pettway was a hot commodity with interest from many of the top leagues in Europe. With over 10 lucrative six-figure offers on the table, he ultimately ended up signing in France with the top-level club SIG that was also competing in ULEB Cup Competition against other strong teams from around Europe. During the 2007-08 season Aaron turned in a number of dominant performances in ULEB Cup. During the spring of 2008 Aaron was back on the radar of NBA teams following a strong season in Europe. This translated in NBA summer league invitations from 10 teams. Aaron was on the verge of signing an NBA contract when he was injured in July of 2008 while attending Rookie/Free Agent Camp with the world champion Boston Celtics.

Pettway was forced to sit out the 2008-2009 season due to a foot injury which required surgery. After not playing for a full season he signed for the 2009-2010 season with defending Latvian champion BK Ventspils which was competing in the Euroleague qualifying round. Aaron showed he was back with a vengeance when he had a monster 20 point, 17 rebound performance against Bennetton Treviso in the Euroleague Qualifying Round on October 1, 2009.

Coming out of Oklahoma State I knew I needed a well connected agent to get me exposure since my college career did not go as I had planned. I got my first job overseas in a solid league by playing well at Mike's camp. The next season I signed a big deal in France(Pro A) and played well in ULEB Cup and Mike had multiple NBA teams interested in me before I got injured while attending a free agent workout with the Boston Celtics. After being out a year with an injury I still signed a contract for well over six figures with a team which was in Euroleague Competition. Michael Hart has made my dreams happen and I trust him with my life. (Aaron Pettway- client for 4 years)

Michael Hart has been my agent since I graduated college in 2002. I was a below the radar player who first had to prove myself in the mid level leagues in Europe before moving on to the big money leagues such as Greece, Russia, and Turkey where I have played the last 4 seasons. From the beginning Mike always talked about me being on a career track and moving up the ladder and he always put me in the right situations to be able to do just that. In a business with many shady agents he is an honest guy and hard worker who is not in it for the money. He finds jobs and will do whatever it takes to get you to the next level. Mark Blount- 7"0" C Minnesota Timberwolves

During the 1999-2000 season we began working with Mark Blount, a 7'0" center, who left University of Pittsburgh after his sophomore center. He declared for the 1997 NBA Draft and was selected in the 2nd round by the Seattle Supersonics. After getting released by the Seattle Supersonics, Mark bounced around the minor leagues and was not involved in organized basketball for the 1998-1999 season. Up to this point in his career, Blount's story was one like many young players without proper guidance. Unfulfilled potential was a common phrase used to describe Mark's talent.

In December of 1999, Hart Sports Management Group devised a structured training program which was designed to take Blount from a minor league reserve with the Baltimore Bayrunners of the IBL to a guaranteed NBA contract. Through intense training with the Hart Sports Management Group's staff of strength and conditioning coaches and basketball training experts, Blount was able to gain 25 pounds of muscle as well as significantly increase his skill level. The end result of this seven month mission was a two year guaranteed contract with the Boston Celtics of the NBA. The focused attention that Mark received from Hart Sports Management Group was instrumental in his current NBA career.
