1999, Michael Hart founded, Hart Sports Management Group, a firm specializing
in representing athletes in the professional basketball leagues of the United
States and throughout the world. Prior to forming this firm, Michael Hart
worked for a respected sports agent, scouting and recruiting talent while
refining the skills necessary for successfully managing all aspects of an
athlete's career. Since founding Hart Sports Management Group and becoming an
NBA & FIBA Licensed Player Agent, Michael Hart has formed an extensive network of
contacts within the basketball community. For the 2009-2010 season, Hart
Sports Management Group has successfully placed 100% of its clients in the
United States and abroad. This success can solely be attributed to the fact
that no other agency will work harder for you as an individual talent than
Hart Sports Management Group. Michael Hart, president of Hart Sports
Management Group, is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a dual
degree in Finance and Sports Management. Whether your goal is to play in the
NBA or overseas, Hart Sports Management Group has proven that it has the
knowledge and resources to make it happen.
Hart
Sport Management Group has successfully negotiated over 400 total contracts
in our company history and placed players in 40 foreign countries and on all
5 continents where professional basketball is played. This includes the NBA,
NBDL, CBA, USBL, ABA and the IBL.
In
the midst of a global recession which hit the basketball market hard, Hart
Sports Management Group had a record breaking year during the 2009-2010 season
with a significant increase in business and numerous six figure contracts for
our clients.
Hart Sports Management Group places a special emphasis on player
development. We constantly are evaluating players' strengths and weaknesses,
